London Wildcare Trust

The Director invited Councillors etc. to celebrate the opening of the refurbished hospital facility.  It was a shame it rained but it was a good turnout . Well done to them for all the good work they do as one of the largest and busiest professional wildlife facilities in the UK.

Stanley Park School

Zippo’s Circus

Took my family including my two grandchildren to Zippo’s Circus that was absolutely brilliant, so if you get a chance to go next year I believe you would thoroughly enjoy it.

Plant Swap

Carshalton Beeches Resident’s Association had organised this but as the weather was bad it was postponed until 8th June.

I had potted up Poppies to swap. I called in a friend and gave her a plant and will let the CB Organiser have a plant also.

Hillcrest Halls Committee

Meeting it was rather a short one as Chelsea and Man U were playing.  Progress on the planning of the new halls seems to be under way.

Met with Adi Cooper Director of Adult Social Care and Housing with Hillcrest Halls Secretary to ascertain what requirements this department would have for using the hall.

Last Supper given by Mfanwy Wallace

Attended the Last Supper given by Mfanwy Wallace as mayor will be sworn in on 19th May.

I am pleased to report that £20,600 was raised for Parkinson’s Outreach, thank you all who took part and supported us.

Attended the Carshalton on the Hill Residents AGM

A short film was shown re the history of Queen Mary’s site, which included the ride on train.

This was held at Hillcrest Halls at Clockhouse for the 1st time.  It was well attended and it was excellent to see this meeting held there.
