Attended a Members training session of partnerships with the council
Attended the AGM Bill Wyatt of the Parks Dept gave a presentation. A vote was taken on the proposed traffic calming systems for the area, no traffic calming was what was requested.
As Part of the Children and Young People Scrutiny Committee I attended the first part of the training that had been proposed. Many dept are involved in this a lot of information was passed on. I look forward to next one.
I attended the last event which was an Indian Meal, the Committee raised over £36,000 this year, wow terrific effort.
Through my contacts I had made with the Rotary Club, I attended a dinner with the Clockhouse Community Association Chairman to collect a cheque for £1000 for the refurbishment of the Halls.
Met at Wallington Police Station, priorites still speeding and burgularies. Car break ins are on the up, police doing undercover work. Railings in Stanley Park painting completed.
We have an architect on board now and users of the hall have been asked for feed back as to their requirements for the halls.
Attended this meeting where the Councillors meet with teaching unions and discuss all matters about morale and standards in schools.
What a wonderful afternoon the weather was so hot and everybody turned out in force to support the hard work that the committee had put in to get this hut up and running. The Mayor opened the hut by cutting a ribbon with shears. Cllr Crowley and myself attended.

I delivered letters to residents in Sussex Road, Warnham Court Road, Crichton Road re dog fouling and parking. I then walked down Banstead Road with my camera taking picture of graffiti and rubbish re the railway bridge, and have reported them to the Council hopefully you will be an improvement soon.
