18 members dined at the Belmont, I have been a member for over 20 years, it is great to keep such friendships going.

Meeting Bill Wyatt of the Parks Dept in Stanley Park to try to see what can be done with the neglected corner.  I am asked for the railings to be painted.

… and then onto Group Meeting with Peter O’Connell who informed of Waste Management to all.

• Garden Waste fly tipping has started, visited June Close but No. 18 not in.
• Joined JK visiting the Travellers Camp, they gave us such a warm welcome.  We are hoping to encourage the Council to put in a playpark as the children are playing on the concrete road where vehicles have to back out of.
• Also called in to see Mayfield Lavender, the colour in the field is absolutely fabulous.

I am going to interview elderly from Clockhouse about their views on their time there to encourage funding to be continued to be made available.  I am

looking for a way to find other clients from Clockhouse too.

Attended Protecting our Heritage training session for DC members, it was interesting to hear of the exceptionally old properties around the Carshalton Ponds.

Called round to North Avenue to view the road since the trees have been pollarded.
